Steven M. White
Steve is a Tempe native. A product of the Kyrene School District and Corona del Sol High School, Steve attended Georgetown University and Arizona State University, where he graduated early from the Honors College, summa cum laude with two minors. He then graduated from law school in Virginia, where he served as an editor of one of his school's law journals and was a member of the National Moot Court team. Steve participated in various sports during law school, including rugby. After law school, Steve moved back to the Phoenix area to begin practicing law. He practiced in Scottsdale and Phoenix before settling in Tempe. Steve continues to practice various types of commercial and business law, including litigation, construction, real estate, and general business matters. He represents entities ranging from multinational corporations to small businesses to individuals. His spare time activities include travel, football, golf, skiing, swimming, and reading.
Sean B. Berberian
Sean was born in Toronto, and moved to the U.S. as a child. He has lived in Tempe for over 20 years. After attending Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Sean graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State Universityís Honors College. He then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated cum laude and worked as an extern for the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for Northern California. During his education, Sean was an editor of one of the law journals and was published twice in academic and law journals. He began his legal practice for a national law firm in San Francisco, and returned to Tempe to be closer to family when he was expecting the birth of his daughter. After returning to Arizona, Sean served as associate general counsel to a group of privately held corporations, advising them in many legal areas, including litigation, general business, employment, and real estate matters. He later became a partner in the Phoenix office of a national law firm, where he practiced complex civil litigation, in state, federal and appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Sean is licensed in both Arizona and California. His litigation experience is highlighted by several published cases, including decisions from a case that resulted in a $9 million jury verdict obtained on behalf of the firmís client. Sean joined our firm to form White Berberian in November 2007. His practice includes many areas of business law and litigation, including commercial litigation, corporate law, real estate, e-commerce law, employment, wrongful death, and civil rights law.
